Good news! There was an amazing outpouring against the Chicago Promoter's Ordinance (which was to be voted on tomorrow) by people who support our local music scene. As a result, the Ordinance (at least as-worded) has been tabled, and the vote will not take place tomorrow. More can be read about the whole situation here.
Good work! But we should still all keep an eye open to make sure a future incarnation of the ordinance won't be as crippling to local music as the last one was.
